The history of the Etruria Hotel

The Etruria Hotel was built in 1932 by the spouses Gerioni Serafino and Frati Elettra, in a building that was built in 1700.

Compared to the current distribution of the rooms, in 1932 only those on the third floor were used, while the rest of the hotel developed in the buildings adjacent to the current location.

From January 1, 1961, the spouses Gerioni and Frati also rented other premises and the Etruria Hotel was thus located in what is also its current home.

In 1970 the ownership of the property and the Etruria Hotel passed to the Bolognesi / Volterrani family who from 01/01/2015 sold it to the Moretti family who still manage it today.
