The history of the Etruria Hotel

The Etruria Hotel was built in 1932 by the spouses Gerioni Serafino and Frati Elettra, in a palace that was built in 1700.

Compared to the current distribution of the rooms, in 1932 only those on the third floor were used, while the remaining part of the hotel was developed in the buildings adjacent to the current location.

From 1 January 1961, the Gerioni and Frati spouses also rented other premises and the Etruria Hotel was thus located in what is also its current home.

In 1970, ownership of the property and the Etruria Hotel passed to the Bolognesi/Volterrani family who, on 01/01/2015, sold it to the Moretti family who still manage it today.
